Yes, the price quoted is the all-inclusive delivered price. However, some options such as delivery on specific days and times might add to this. A summary is shown to you before you make payment so you can choose what service suits you.

All of our prices are inclusive of delivery. We calculate delivery depending on quantity, postcode area, variety of turf and the weight of the turf. However, delivery on a specific day or time can incur a surcharge which is shown clearly when you are selecting your preferred delivery date.

We can offer AM (8am-1pm) or PM (12pm-6pm) delivery slots for an extra £25. The hauliers will then send an email with a 2hr ETA window when your order goes out for delivery.

If your order has not yet been dispatched from our yard, we can amend your delivery date. Please call our office as soon as possible to let us know.

Our turf is cut to order the day before delivery.

Our minimum order for delivery is 10 rolls.

Each roll is 1 square metre. They are approximately 1.7m long, 0.6m wide and an inch thick.

You can measure the width and length of your garden in metres, feet or yards and use out handy turf calculator to help you figure out how much turf you need.

Once your order has been placed you should receive a confirmation within a few minutes. The email will contain a link to download a VAT invoice for your records.

We deliver the turf to the kerbside of the address, using a tail-lift and manual pallet truck offload. We do not deliver via hiab or crane. The delivery needs to be made to a flat, hard standing area.

We cover the entire mainland UK, however, our delivery lorry will need space to access your road & requires a flat, hard surface to lower the pallet on to.

Standard deliveries are made on an 18-tonne delivery vehicle. Generally, if a refuse truck can get down your road then we can. If you think delivery could be an issue for a full sized lorry - get in touch with the team to request a smaller wagon delivery on 01695 422 144.

We recommend being at home to sign for your delivery, but in some cases, your goods can be left safe. Get in touch with us to let us know if you’re not able to be at home.

The haulage company will send you an email with a 2hr ETA window once the goods go out for delivery.

Yes, you can have your order delivered on Saturday. However, Saturday delivery has a surcharge, so some customers select other days which have lower or no charges at all.

It is best to lay turf in the autumn or spring, when it is not too hot and not too cold. However, you can lay turf at any time of year as long, as the ground is not frozen or covered in snow, but it may take longer to root in. When laying turf in the summer, you should lay it on the day of delivery and water heavily once laid.

No, as the new turf may struggle to root in. Turf needs to be laid onto good quality topsoil.

You should water your newly laid turf every day until it has rooted in. You should then water deeply and infrequently to encourage healthy root growth. In summer, you may need to water a few times a day in the morning and evening before the sun is directly overhead.

You should check your lawn has fully rooted in before mowing. For the first mow, you should set your blade height to the highest setting and gradually reduce the height with each mow. Check out our ‘Mowing Your Lawn’ guide for more information.

We pre-fertilise our turf upon harvesting so, if you have good quality soil, you won’t need to feed your lawn before or straight after laying your turf.

Turf must be inspected upon delivery and laid within 24 hours of receiving for best results, subject to adverse warm weather conditions which will reduce to 6 hours.

Yes, our turf is grown directly on our farm. We do not supply artificial turf.

Turf usually takes around 2 weeks to root in but can vary depending on the time of year and the aftercare given. You can check if your turf has rooted in by turning a corner up and looking for root growth. Once the corners can no longer be turned, you should then be able to walk on the turf and mow it.

Our turf is grown from a blend of rye grass & fescues, which gives the turf its aesthetic & hard-wearing qualities.

You will need to use top soil if you have poor quality soil in your garden, or if the ground levels are uneven.
